What To Expect When Working with Analytive
Hi!
Tyler here. By working with us, you’ve joined a small group of businesses and entrepreneurs that are the best at what they do.
We’ve grown companies across a variety of industries and in over a dozen verticals. These include tech companies, VC backed SaaS companies, accelerators, and B2C product companies. Many of our clients stick around for a long time. We hope we’re able to serve you well enough you do the same.
We care about your company and your success. Throughout this relationship, we want to help you find the right audience, the right message, and the right calls to action to help you grow your company.
We’re different than a lot of marketing companies you’ve worked with. As we dive into this, we wanted to let you know what you can expect from us:
- Communication – We value communication. Email is our main method of communication. So please feel free to reach out to us anytime. We do our best to respond within a minimum of 24 hours on business days. Usually it’s much faster.
- Productivity – But we also realize that every second we spend sending emails and attending meetings, we’re not taking measurable steps to grow your business.
- Excellence vs. Perfection – We’ll always push for excellence, but we value speed over perfection. We will occasionally make mistakes, and we appreciate constructive feedback.
- Get Stuff Done – We will also focus on getting things done. Ads in draft mode, articles saved in a folder, and concepts left in development don’t grow your business. So please excuse us if we like to move a little faster than you’re comfortable with.
- Two Heads Are Better Than One – You know your product better than anyone. But we know marketing. In order to get the results you want, we have to work together.
- Teammates – Speaking of success, our success and your success are tied together for the duration of this project. We’re on the same team. And we’re honored to be here with you.
- Metrics – Our focus is on driving the right metrics in your business. Usually this consists of traffic and conversions as we define them together.
- Metrics vs. Insights – If you care about seeing all the numbers, we’ll create dashboards to report these (please just ask). But we spend our time looking for insights. Insights are what help us make better decisions. Numbers are just numbers.
- Leverage – We’re going to try and use leverage as much as possible. That simply means that we’re going to focus on the things that will have the greatest impact in your business. 20% of our effort will have 80% of the impact. We just have to find that 20%.
- Let’s Not Be Boring – Boring isn’t bought. People don’t engage with boring content. They don’t click boring content. As such, we’ll likely push the envelope. Our goal is to find the balance between edginess and professionalism. That’s what will sell your product or service.
- We’re Here to Help – If there’s ever an issue, please reach out to us. We’re excited to help.
Here’s how you can help us serve you better:
- Feedback – Always be clear with your expectations. Drafts will often be sent over to you for review. Feedback such as “I don’t like it” isn’t very helpful. Instead, specific feedback like “the logo looks too small” or “I get a 404 error on my mobile phone” are much more helpful.
- Revisions – We’re happy to make up to three major revisions on any piece of content created, but revisions do slow us down dramatically as they take anywhere from 24-72 hours. Please revise with this in mind.
- Permissions – When kicking off a project, it will often take well over a dozen emails to get proper permissions for Facebook, AdWords, Analytics, Website, and any other tools we need to use. All instructions for adding our organization can be found here: {link}
- Creativity – We welcome your thoughts and ideas. If they fit within our scope, we’re often happy to implement them. If they’re outside the scope, we’ll have a conversation about how (or who) can help with them.
- Leads – Our focus is what happens before a potential customer converts. Once a user converts, they are in your sales pipeline. We’ve both worked hard to get them there. Please make sure you take care of them.
I think that’s it for now. As always, we’re here to serve.
Let’s build the future.
Your Favorite Marketer,
Tyler @ Analytive
