When evaluating PPC campaigns, sometimes we miss the forest because of the trees.
We want to do deep dives into metrics like CPM per audience and Conversion assists.
And at times that can be valuable. But what do we look at first? What can those of us who aren’t data-scientists and uber-nerds learn from PPC?
In order to help, we created this PPC cheat sheet.
Basically, we look at Click-through rate of the ads and the landing page conversion rate. That gives us four quadrants in which we place ourselves. Then adjust accordingly.
To make it simple, you can download it and print it off. I recommend hanging it on your wall or whiteboard as a reference you can use when in doubt.
May it help you make the best decisions you can.
P.S. I originally saw a version of this created by someone else. Since then I’ve lost the source, but am happy to give credit. I certainly didn’t come up with all of it. 🙂
